Greek Island Yoga Retreat, 2 - 9 May 2020

A week of Vinyasa Yoga, meditation, restorative practices, relaxation, locally sourced delicious Greek food in a beautiful seaside setting

I am very excited to be back in Corfu , one of the most stunning islands of the Mediterranean, for a week-long retreat. Rest, recharge and reset with twice daily Yoga practice, delicious local food and swimming in the turquoise Ionian sea.

The island of Corfu, with a history dating back to the kingdom of the Phaeacians, is situated in the north-west part of Greece, in the Ionian Sea. With a rich mix of cultural influences, including Venetian, French and British, Corfu is known forits lush green surrounding, beautiful beaches, crystal clear blue sea and the famous Greek hospitality.

Our venue is located on the tranquil bay of Dassia, 15 kilometres north of the historic town of Corfu and airport. We will stay at a beautiful family run boutique hotel that is only a stone’s throw away from the Blue-Flag awarded beach.



Our retreat day will start with guided meditation and stillness moving on to energising Vinyasa practice to strengthen and challenge the body and mind. We will dedicate time to break down challenging poses and explore specific themes. The late afternoon session will be deeply relaxing and quiet and will combine restorative and Yin asanas.

Sessions will include practices such as intention, journalling and pranayama (breathing practice). Insights into the philosophy of Yoga will be offered to encourage reflection. This is a Yoga immersion designed to reset the body and mind.

All our yoga practice will take place on the covered wooden terrace next to the beach. There will be a free half day during the week to offer the opportunity to explore the island.

The seaside venue consists of two buildings surrounded by luscious gardens. All rooms are ensuite, uniquely decorated and offer double and twin beds. There are shared and quiet spots and indoor and outdoor lounge areas.



All meals are buffet style and vegetarian/vegan with locally sourced produce. Fruit coffee and tea will be available before the morning practice. Brunch, afternoon snack and dinner will be offered daily apart from the free half day where only brunch and an optional afternoon snack will be offered.

£100 deposit to reserve your place. The balance is due on 22 February.
